It was okay, wish it was more items on the everyday special . The waitress was very nice

The entrance has water to the sides with beautiful fish. The waiter was very professional. The food came out surprisingly very fast. Everything was delicious, especially the steamed pork buns which was the main reason I wanted to go, for the dim sum.

This place took forever to seat us when they weren’t busy and also we found hair in the chicken it was disgusting I asked our waiter if he could just take it off the bill and he’s like well I’m gonna have to take the whole dish and I was like well you can’t remake it and then he gets his manager the manager remakes our food takes forever to bring the food out and our waiter never checked up on us also the tea was disgusting just horrible service

Took over an hour for delivery. The guy that delivered the order, delivered it to the wrong apartment. What a mess. Called for a refund and i couldn't even get a manager on the phone. Terrible customer service. Never going here again.

Food is ok (San Antonio standard). Of coz Can’t compare to Vancouver, LA, etc. the food is catered to American taste bud. Not very authentic. take out service ever. I have ordered take out so many time and they never once get it right. Always missing something !!!!!!!!!!!!! Check every single detail before you walk out !!!!!

I am Chinese, and I am big critic of Chinese food. We came here because we saw their billboard sign along the highway. We came here for lunch to eat their dim sum, and we were pleasantly surprised. My family LOVED the food here, and I mean we wanted to come back here everyday (but couldn't because we are here just to visit a few days). The dim sum was steamed perfectly. My mom asked for a custom-made dim sum that isn't usually made with vegetables, and the chef was nice enough to make it for her, and she loved it. The tea here is authentic, we ordered Chrysanthemum and Black tea and it warmed us up. and Our waitress was so accommodating and she got us everything we needed immediately.

Wait staff was wonderful. Food was ok. I feel that this place is overrated and pricey as I could have gone to China Rose for cheaper and more flavor.

The food is excellent and the prices are great! I especially love dim sum Sundays. Watching the little food carts that go around with the dim sum and we can just order off the cart directly, really cool!! But what I find really awesome as well is that you can order dim sum any day of the week.

The best Chinese I have had so far in San Antonio. Fried rice was actually "Fried Rice" instead of white rice looking like fried rice. I got the Sesame Chicken. The flavor & texture was just right & the portions were generous. I ordered take out and you know you never get the same portion size like you would by dinning in.

A great Chinese restaurant to get good food at good prices, try the lunch special! Very busy at lunch, but service was still top-notch. You can't go wrong here for quality Chinese dishes.

Good food, but in the year and a half I’ve been coming here, not once has my order ever been ready for pickup. Foods good though, service is great too, just wouldn’t order takeout/delivery from here

I've been to so many Asian restaurants at this point in my life, but this one (by far) is the worst one I've been to. Let's start with the 4 entrees my table ordered. Each dish that was "cooked" in sauce was drowned in their respective sauces. The sheer amount of sauce however seemed to do nothing whatsoever for the abysmal flavor of the food. Each dish was tasteless, stale, and had the consistency of a frozen dinner. I swear the pig killed for the sweet and sour pork I ordered was fighting me from the afterlife with how tough it was. We thought the giant pile of white rice would be our saving grace, but little did we know that minute rice awaited us. How does an asian restaurant even mess up white rice???I went here on a recommendation and all I can say is that I was failed. The prices were most definitely not fair for the quality of food we were served.

This restaurant has good food, they have great lunch specials that you can really enjoy for a great price. The downside of the great place is it can be crowded and you might not be seated easily and have to wwit.. The service is generally always great. The food is good and there is plenty of options to choose from.

Great place to eat. I would say it the best Chinese Restaurant in San Antonio. I enjoy eating their specialty plate. Chung Bo Strak. Very flavorful. Pork Fried rice is excellent also. They do a great job on order to pick up.

This Asian food is so delicious....i love their dumplings... they are big and delicious.... also I always order their chicken lo mein.... so so good....i just think all of their food is so great and delicious.... they really work hard for their great ratings....ty

Best place for authentic Chinese food! Great dim sums especially on weekends. Food is fantastic, I've never been disappointed and always enjoy the atmosphere. Great adult beverages as well.

So I've never had golden wok for dinner and I found out if you order it for pickup then prepare to pay. The fried rice is only sold in an order for 8.95 and the egg rolls as well. You have to buy the entree separately. But the food was delicious. I enjoyed the orange chicken and fried rice. The egg roll was very tasty.

Loved the food, service, and prices! Had Sesame Chicken - great. Wife had sweet & sour chicken - very good. Reasonable prices. Fast service. Nice ambience. Good family atmosphere.

Rude and unprofessional host. I believe Jade was his name. I confronted him on his behavior and with no remorse he sated that’s just the I am. The food was good and lunch menu was very reasonably priced. However there won’t be any repeat business from me.

The wait staff was exceptional, the food came in generous portions. We even received a visit from the owner who was not afraid to go to the kitchen and ask for my son's plate that had been missing. The waiter was very apologetic and the servixlce was so exemplary that my family did not feel upset at the oversight. Our server kept our drinks filled and timed his checks on us perfectly so that we didn't feel annoyed at his presence. My 9 year olds found dishes that they loved. It was a very enjoyable experience and my family and I will return happily.

The food was good. But I was over prize. I paid $14.98 Did not even got a drop soup. And it was my lunch time. and I do patient care. Then they charge me for egg roll.😵

Hate that the pandemic has caused such a mess but I like how everyone is spaced out and it seems to help with the servers being able to serve their customers better. And the Dim Sum was really on point 👌 yet again.

We've made it a tradition that when we visit San Antonio we HAVE to eat at Golden Wok. Great food and service.

The service was awesome thanks to Angel. She went out of here way to make sure we had the best experience. Egg Rolls were very tasty, Sweet n Sour Chicken nice n crunchy and the Orange Chicken didn't make the trip home... great job on everything. I drank a lot of tea!!! 💞💞🥕🌶🍗🔥🔥🔥

It's ok, food was not all that great. The fried noodles were just ok half of the plate was two whole green onions placed over it. I ordered lemon chicken and it was really tough and dry. The egg drop soup was good but overall really not worth the price. Service was good and the place is really clean. No fortune cookie given here either.

My girlfriend enjoyed her meal, she had the egg drop soup and beef fried rice. On the other hand I had the wonton soup and spicy beef and broccoli. I didn't enjoy any of it besides the rice, but it's just my opinion

We come religiously to Golden Wok but this location has definitely lost it's everything we loved about it. The service is horrible and the waiterd makes simple instructions seem like difficult tasks. Marbach location is much better, and that alone says a lot !

An absolute blast of a place to go too if you want to have some Chinese food. This was my first time going and really enjoyed the atmosphere and vibe from the place. Food did take a while to arrive but for the quality and quantity it's definitely worth it and would dine in again here! The only reason for me taking a star off is mainly just due to the restrooms not being as tidy/maintained as I would hope but other than that the rest of the place is top notch!

I usually come here often and the service is always good but today I got Nick as my sever and he was probably the best server I have ever had. Nick was always checking on my table to make sure we were okay and our food came out within 10-15 minutes. Nick was running back and forward to make sure his other tables were also happy. I was very please with the service. Differently coming back!

They have great ribs, combination fried rice, and egg rolls.

Our first time there. The seafood cheese puffs, chicken fried rice and General TSO chicken were fresh and delicious! Our waitress, Maddie was so personable. Great service!! The restaurant was very clean! Everyone was wearing masks!! ✅👍💯

Worse experience with curve side pick up. If you want to be angry right before eating go there. People who answer the phones are rude too.I called them once I arrived, after 20Minutes of waiting I called again, only to be put on hold for 5 more minutes. When my food finally came out it was cold. I returned the food and asked for a refund. Will no longer be going there. If I could give them a - 10 I would.

I have always loved this place. Sesame Chicken is very tasty and always made with lean white chicken meat.

Second time coming here. The first time the service was really lacking and it took a while for our server to tend to us. This time around it was much quicker. They got an additional helper for the area so it was great. I got the Sesame Chicken with Steamed Rice. It was great!! Your eyes will bigger than your stomach in this place but trust me, the portions are great size for a lunch.

The food was awesome, and the service was good! I will return again! My friends and I enjoyed ourselves!

Ribs are delicious, Dim Sum is great, and you cant go wrong with their lemon chicken.
